Presso Tickets

Sell tickets at a flat 1%.

Presso Tickets is low-fee event ticketing built on Stripe Connect. A flat 1% of ticket sales, no setup fee, no monthly minimum and no contract - money lands directly in your own Stripe account, not a platform-held balance.

The fee

What 1% actually means.

On a £10,000 event, 1% costs £100. Most ticketing platforms charge 6 to 10% plus a per-ticket fee - the same event would cost £700 to £1,000 elsewhere. Presso Tickets does not need a 700% margin on top of Stripe to keep the lights on, so it doesn't take one.

That flat 1% with no minimum is for pure ticket sales. Add Presso Events - the browser-based event app - and the platform fee becomes the higher of 1% of ticket sales or £1 per active attendee per event day, never both. Presso Pro, your app on your own domain, is £49 a month on top.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Presso Tickets.

How much does Presso Tickets cost?

1% of ticket sales. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no contract. You only pay when you sell. Enable Presso Events and the platform fee becomes the higher of 1% of ticket sales or £1 per active attendee per event day - never both.

How does 1% compare to Eventbrite?

Eventbrite charges roughly 7-10% plus a flat fee per ticket. On a 500-attendee conference at £50 a ticket - £25,000 in sales - Eventbrite takes around £1,750 to £2,500. Presso Tickets takes £250. The difference stays with the organiser.

Do attendees pay any extra fees?

Attendees pay Stripe's standard card processing fee (around 1.5% + 25p for UK cards). There are no additional Presso Tickets fees on top of that.

When do payouts arrive?

Stripe pays out to your bank account on Stripe's standard schedule, typically two business days after a charge. Money goes to your own Stripe account, not a platform-held balance.

Is there a setup fee or monthly minimum?

No. No setup fee, no monthly fee and no minimum number of events or tickets. Presso Tickets costs nothing until you sell your first ticket.

Do I need Presso Events or Presso Pro to use Presso Tickets?

No. Most organisers start with Presso Tickets alone and add Presso Events or Presso Pro later, from the same account, whenever they need more than a confirmation email.
