One small team. No boardroom.
Presso Network Ltd is a UK company building low-fee, no-lock-in event technology: Presso Tickets, Presso Events and Presso Pro. It's run by founder Kristian Papadakis, advised by Dr Thomas Papanikolaou, and answers to organisers rather than investors - there aren't any.
Fair infrastructure, not extraction.
Legacy ticketing platforms charge 8 to 10% or more per ticket and often force attendees through an app download nobody asked for. Presso exists to replace that with fair, low-fee infrastructure for the organisers who run professional B2B events - conferences, networking events, corporate events. Not festivals, not clubs.
We're bootstrapped and self-owned. No venture capital, no growth targets set by anyone but us. That means we build for organisers first, not a board's quarterly numbers. The goal isn't to be the biggest - it's to be the platform trusted by organisers who care about their attendees.
Venture capital taken
Flat platform fee on ticket sales
Self-owned, no investors

10% of revenue funds climate action. Built in, not bolted on.
Presso commits at least 10% of its own revenue to climate action - not a customer-funded add-on, not a checkout tick-box, not a surcharge on your event. We pay it out of our own revenue, whether an event sells out or not. 1% for the Planet is one channel within that 10%, not the headline figure - anyone quoting the commitment as "1%" has it wrong.
Fiercely independent.
No VCs, bootstrapped. We answer to organisers, not a board.
Tech without baggage.
No forced app downloads, no lock-in, no bloat.
Sustainability, not slogans.
A funded 10% commitment, not a green badge.
Organiser-obsessed.
Built for the people running events, not the platform's margins.
Tiny team.
Deliberately small. Leverage over headcount.
Integrity.
No hidden fees. The price is the price.
Lighter events.
Browser-based means paper-free, download-free, lower-footprint events.
Friction is the enemy.
Every step removed is a win.
Legacy over hype.
Build the thing that lasts, not the thing that trends.
Where the 10% goes.
The 10% flows through a portfolio of climate and good-cause partners:
- 1% for the Planet
- Stripe Climate
- Ecologi
- Trees for Life
- Million Tree Pledge
- 1t.org (World Economic Forum)
- SME Climate Hub
- WWF
- Rainforest Alliance
- Code.org
- ARCHELON
- Save The Bees
This shapes how we choose vendors too: where two tools do the same job, the one with the stronger climate posture wins - unless the premium is disproportionate to our scale. The pledge shapes the stack; it doesn't override frugality.
