Pay 1%. Not 8 to 10%.
The platform fee is the higher of 1% of ticket sales or £1 per active attendee per event day when Presso Events is on - never both. Pure ticket sales are a flat 1% with no minimum. Presso Pro, your own domain, is a separate £49 a month. No setup fees, no contracts, no hidden minimums.
One fee. Whichever is higher.
The platform fee is max(1% of ticket revenue, £1 x active
attendees x event days). It is one fee with a floor, not two
fees added together - you always pay whichever amount is higher, never
both.
Sell tickets through Presso Tickets alone and there is no floor at all: a flat 1% of ticket sales, no minimum. Turn on Presso Events, the browser-based event app, and the floor applies - £1 per active attendee per event day. Only attendees who actually open the app on a given day are counted, so a no-show is never charged and the floor has a hard ceiling: attendees x event days x £1. A "day" is any calendar date the event spans. Presso Pro, your app on your own domain, is a separate £49 a month on top.
A 3-day conference, 100 attendees, £15,000 in sales.
Organiser using Presso Tickets, Presso Events and Presso Pro:
£150.
1% of £15,000 in ticket sales.
£300.
100 active attendees x 3 event days x £1. Higher than the 1% figure, so this is what's charged.
£349 total.
£300 platform fee (the higher of the two) plus £49/month for Presso Pro, additive.
The equivalent event on Eventbrite plus a native event app would typically run £1,200 to £1,500 for the same month.

Common questions about pricing.
How much does Presso cost?
The platform fee is the higher of 1% of ticket sales or £1 per active attendee per event day when Presso Events is on. Pure ticket sales are a flat 1% with no minimum. Presso Pro is a separate, additive £49 a month. You only pay for what you use.
Is the £1 per attendee per day on top of the 1%?
No. It is a floor on the same fee, not a second charge. You pay whichever amount is higher - 1% of ticket revenue, or £1 x active attendees x event days - never both added together.
When does the £1/attendee/day floor apply?
Only when Presso Events is enabled. Pure ticket sales through Presso Tickets alone are always a flat 1% with no floor and no minimum.
What counts as an active attendee?
Only attendees who actually open the event app on a given day are counted. A no-show is never charged, so the floor has a hard ceiling: attendees x event days x £1.
What counts as an event day?
Any calendar date the event spans. A 3-day conference is 3 days, regardless of session length within each day.
Is there VAT on top?
Presso Tickets fees are VAT-exempt, taken as a Stripe Connect application fee. Presso Events and Presso Pro are Stripe Billing subscriptions and carry 20% VAT, added automatically by Stripe Tax.
What is Presso Pro and is it included?
Presso Pro puts the event app on your own branded domain. It is a separate, additive £49 a month - an add-on to Presso Events, not included in the platform fee, and it cannot exist without Presso Events.
Are there setup fees, contracts or monthly minimums?
No setup fee, no contract, no monthly minimum - except that the £49 Presso Pro subscription is itself a flat monthly charge once you turn it on. Start and stop whenever you like.
