By engaging with our properties, services, or team, you agree to the practices described below.
Purpose of Collecting Data
Presso collects and processes personal and non-personal data to:
- Provide, support and improve our products and Headless builds
- Communicate with applicants, the people and businesses who use our products, and partners
- Manage contracts, billing, and platform performance
- Provide strategic updates, performance insights, and platform improvements
- Tell businesses about products that may help them, through short direct emails (see Business prospecting)
- Operate our business effectively and securely
We do not sell personal or non-personal data under any circumstances.
Lawful Basis for Processing
We only process personal data when there is a lawful reason to do so:
- Consent – When you opt in to hear from us or use certain services
- Contract – When data is required to deliver or negotiate a service
- Legal Obligation – When data must be processed to comply with law
- Legitimate Interest – When necessary for operating our business securely and effectively, provided it does not override your rights
- Legitimate Interest (direct marketing) – When we contact businesses about our products, as explained under Business prospecting
Categories of Data We Collect
We may collect the following data:
- Identifying Information – Name, email, phone number, social/contact handles
- Professional & Company Data – Job title, company name, business details
- Transactional Data – Billing, invoicing, and contract history
- Communication Preferences – Opt-in details for newsletters or updates
- Platform Interaction – Anonymous usage analytics (via Cloudflare Web Analytics)
- Project & Platform Content – Only where explicitly provided for delivery
We do not collect:
- Biometric, health, or behavioural profiling data
- Data from children under 13
- Data for advertising or ad targeting. We never sell data or use it to target ads. We do use business contact details to write directly to businesses, as explained under Business prospecting
How We Collect Data
- Directly from You – Via our website forms, conversations with us, product usage, and support requests
- From Public Business Sources – Business registries and directories
- Automatically – Through anonymised analytics on website and platform usage
Business prospecting (B2B outreach)
Sometimes we email people at businesses that have not contacted us first, to tell them about one of our products. This section explains how that works and how to stop it.
What we do and why
We send short emails about Presso Visibility, Presso Analytics, Headless builds, Presso Events and Presso Homes to businesses we think may find them useful. Each email is built around one public observation about that business, for example:
- How AI assistants describe the business
- A public job advert or case study that mentions its Amplitude tracking
- Its public API documentation
- The fees shown on its public event listing
- Its public lettings listings
Presso Analytics is independent and is not affiliated with Amplitude.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): our interest in telling relevant businesses about products that may help them. We have carried out a legitimate interests assessment, which weighs that interest against your rights, and we keep it on file. We follow the rules for emailing corporate subscribers under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
The data we use
- Your name and role
- Your work email address
- Your company name and company number
- The web address of the public source we used, and the observation we took from it
We keep these details in our CRM (HubSpot) and send from our mailbox (Google Workspace). Our emails contain no tracking pixels and no open tracking.
Where it comes from
- Company websites
- Companies House
- Public job adverts
- Public event and property listings
- Public API documentation
Who we never contact
We only write to limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs). We never contact sole traders, ordinary partnerships or personal email addresses.
How often we write
At most two emails, sent from a Presso Network team mailbox. Any reply from you stops the sequence: we will not send anything further unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
If you never reply, we delete your details 12 months after we last contacted you. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep the minimum needed to recognise you on a suppression list for as long as we send marketing emails, so that we never write to you again.
Your right to object
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. To use it, reply “no thanks” to any of our emails, or email hello@pressonetwork.com. You do not need to give a reason. We act on it within one working day, and it applies across every Presso product, not only the one we wrote about. Your other rights, listed under Your Rights, also apply.
Where to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please tell us first at hello@pressonetwork.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies & Analytics
Our public websites, including pressonetwork.com, getcorey.ai and presso.events, do not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which protects our websites, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from bots.
When you sign in to Presso Events, we set strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in securely. Our sign-in provider, WorkOS, also sets its own security cookies during sign-in. We never use advertising or tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy has more detail.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (opens in a new tab) to gather privacy-first, anonymised insights into how our websites are used. This means:
- No personal tracking
- No cookies or data stored in your browser
- No advertising identifiers
- No profiling, ever
On getcorey.ai we also count clicks on a few setup buttons, without cookies or identifiers.
Data Retention
We retain data based on role and relevance:
- Visitors – No personal data retained
- Applicants & Enquiries – 12 months from last meaningful interaction
- Business Prospects – Deleted 12 months after our last email if you never reply. Opt-outs stay on a suppression list for as long as we send marketing (see Business prospecting)
- Businesses We Contract With – For 6 years after your last active contract, for legal and financial compliance
- Suppliers – 6 years post-contract
- Newsletter Subscribers – Until consent is withdrawn
- Users of Headless Builds – Managed entirely by the business that owns the build. Presso does not retain or store this data unless contractually required to support delivery.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not disclose personal data, unless:
- Required for secure delivery of your service (e.g. with our hosting or design partners)
- Required by law (e.g. court order, subpoena)
- In rare, urgent situations (e.g. risk to public safety)
Where we must disclose data, we will notify you unless legally prohibited.

- To Rectify – You can request corrections to your data
- To Erase – You may ask us to delete your data

To exercise these rights, email hello@pressonetwork.com.

International Transfers
We use a small set of service providers that process personal data for us:
- Cloudflare – Hosting, security and cookie-free website analytics
- Neon – The Presso Events database, held in London
- Hetzner – Server hosting for Corey
- WorkOS – Sign-in
- Stripe – Payments
- Resend – Transactional email
- Google Workspace – Our email and documents
- HubSpot – Our CRM, including business prospecting records
Some of these providers process personal data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer relies on UK adequacy regulations, or on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Breach Notification
If a personal data breach occurs, we will:
- Report it to the ICO within 72 hours where required
- Tell affected individuals without undue delay where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms
- Review and update our processes to prevent recurrence
